The upper body is worked in the round bottom up on circular needles, with increases at the sides of the piece, then divided for front and back and finished separately. The shoulders are sewn with mattress stitch. Then the stitches for the skirt are picked up from the selvage stitches of the belt. The skirt is worked top down on circular needles with Stockinette st to the desired length. Increases are worked at the sides of the piece. The hem of the skirt is finished with fold and knit bind off. The neckline is finished with crochet edge.
