Pattern Notes

This pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up. Sleeve bands are first worked and put aside. The bottom hem is then cast on and worked up to the under arms which are bound off and the sleeve bands added.

The sleeve cap and shoulders are then worked while the body is decreased away to the neck edge.

The neck is shaped by short rows worked over the shoulder area. The neck edging is then worked before the top is bound off.

I think the “sleeve edge” is the “sleeve band” you made first. Woulda been nice if there’d been some consistency in naming.

I also had the same question as the previous comment; there are no specific instructions on how to add the sleeve edges. Help, please!

Ok thanks. Question is: under the shoulder/sleeve caps section it says “add a sleeve edge”, where are the instructions for that. Also what is the best way to reach out to Theresa Shingler?

I am knitting this top and have finished the 12inches of knitting and the arm decrease but have questions about the lace pattern. Is there someone I can talk to about this. Thanks
