Pattern Notes

This shawl is worked sideways. It is increased over approximately the first 33% of the skein, worked even over the next approximate 33%, and then decreased the rest of the yarn’s weight.
You will need to weigh your yarn on a yarn scale as you knit this shawl.
The stitch counts are broken up into three sections separated by stitch markers.
The first 9-stitch section will always be 9 stitches.
The increase section will increase 1 stitch every other row, so by the end of the 12 row repeat, that repeat section will have increased 6 stitches. (When I worked the sample, the stockinette section between the two markers stitch count was 62 stitches throughout the “Work Even” section.)
The decrease section will decrease 1 stitch every other row, so by the end of the 12 row repeat, that repeat section will have decreased 6 stitches. (You will work the decrease section all the way back down until you have the remaining 2 stitches left in that section that you started with before increasing.)
