Pattern Notes

This scarf is worked in one-piece from the bottom up, beginning and ending in Garter Stitch at the edges. The scarf is easy to adjust in width and length by adding or removing stitches (multiple 9 sts), and working more or less rows.

Pattern

Loosely, CO 56 sts.
Rows 1-9: Knit.
Row 10 (RS): K4, p3, *yo, skp, k2tog, yo, k2, p3; rep from * across to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 11 and all WS rows: K7, *p6, k3; rep from * across to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 12: K4, p3, *k1, yo, skp, k1, k2tog, yo, p3; rep from * across to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 14: K4, p3, *k2, yo, k3tog, yo, k1, p3; rep from * across to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 15: K7, *p6, k3; rep from * across to last 4 sts, k4.
Rep Rows 10-15 until piece measures about 44” or desired length.
Rep Rows 1-9 once.

Loosely BO all sts in pattern.

Finishing

Weave in all ends and block aggressively to open up lace pattern.
