Big Stitch Pillow Set

This Big Stitch Pillow Set is the perfect home accessory for cozying up your home. Knit two plush pillows with just one bump of supersized yarn and one set of big needles. These pillows are quick and easy to knit—and can easily be done in a day of knitting. Once you’re finished with your pillows, keep reading for a step-by-step guide on seaming.

Pattern Notes

This pattern is worked in the round, the one side is bound off with a three needle bind off and the other is seamed. If you don’t have another US 50 needle for the three needle bind off you can either graft the ends together using your fingers, or bind off and seam shut. Please see the accompanying tutorial on how to seam the pillow.
Tip: Instead of measuring the work of your knitting, try placing the pillow form inside the pillow to check the length of your work.

Square Pillow Pattern

Square Pillow is worked from bottom to top.
CO 18 sts using the backwards loop method, join to knit in the round, being careful not to twist.
Rib Rnd: *K1, p1* to end.
Continue working in Rib until work measures 14” from CO edge.
Using another needle BO all sts using the three needle BO method, or an alternative described above.

Finishing

Turn work inside out, so seam from the three needle bind off is on the inside. Insert pillow form and seam the remaining open side of the pillow.

Rectangular Pillow Pattern
