Classic Christmas Ornaments

Skill Level: Easy

Sizes: Small (7” round and 2” tall), Medium (7” round and 3” tall), Large (9” around and 5” tall)

Gauge: 6 sts = 1” (Gauge is not super critical for this pattern, however, you will want to use a needle at least 2 sizes smaller than suggested needle size for the yarn you are using in order to make a tighter fabric)

Materials

Yarn: Anzula Cricket (80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 250 yards [228 meters]/100 grams): 1 Red Shoe (1 hank); Malabrigo Sock Yarn (100% superwash merino wool; 440 yards [402 meters]100 grams): Any color for accents (less than 1 skein); Anzula For Better or Worsted (80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 200 yards [182 meters]/100 grams): 1 Red Shoe and Natural
Needles: US size 3 needles, US size 4 needles
Notions: Tapestry needle, measuring tape, scissors, stitch marker, stuffing

Abbreviations

k2tog: Knit two sts together as one (1 st decreased)
Kf/b: Knit into the front and the back of 1 st (1 st increased)

Small Santa Belt

Using smaller dpns, CO 6 sts and divide evenly over the needles.
Rnd 1: Knit.
Rnd 2: *Kf/b; repeat from * across rnd. (12 sts)
Rnd 3: Knit.
