Gauge: 12 sts x 18 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Left or Right Wing pattern after wet blocking

Needles: US 10 (6 mm): 40” circular

Pattern Notes

This shawl is knit from the top down. It is a heart/crescent shape and there are 2 sts increased on each edge, every right side row. There is also 1 st increased on each side of the center panel every RS row for a total of 6 sts increased every RS row.

Hello! Yes, you should be able to do this, I would just make a gauge swatch to ensure that the shawl doesn’t end up smaller than you anticipate. This shawl is quite large, so likely worsted weight would make it a touch smaller but not drastically so. Hope this helps! – Nicola, Editor

  • Hi, PDF of chart is very small and placed on right side of paper. Is there any chance this chart can be moved to left margin and the charts enlarged? Thank You!
