Kimia Knit Headband

These easy, shaped headbands are worked in two halves, each started with a closed cast on, then grafted together over a plastic headband insert. A flat tube of Stockinette Stitch is then twisted into a mobius knot and grafted in place in the center, for a playful finish. A quick day project, you’ll enjoy knitting up lots of these fun accessories in different colors, or making matching headbands for all your friends! These sun-and-sea-inspired headbands are perfect for adding a whimsical, summertime flair to your look. Each skein of Universal Yarns Bamboo Pop is enough to make five colorful headbands. Pair with your favorite flowy dress for a free-spirited look.

Sloane Linen Beach Cardigan

Introducing the beach cardigan: Sloane is the official layer of summer sunsets. 100% linen yarn makes a perfectly weathered texture and Qunice & Co’s Kestrel does not disappoint. The ribbon structure of this yarn adds a slight texture to simple knit and purl stitches. Not only does this yarn knit up quickly at 4 stitches per inch, the resulting fabric has incredible drape and gets better with every wash and wear. An easy fit you can wear off the shoulder for casual shoreline strolls. The cardigan is worked in rows from bottom up. Both front ribbing bands are continued and worked until a three-needle bind off combines at the center back neck. After a few shaping short rows, the sleeves are worked in-the-round down to the cuffs.

Heart of Hearts Mittens

Simple, yet colorful, these classic thrummed mittens are worked from the cuff up, on a neutral background, with three alternating shades of colorful thrums. Easy enough for a first-time thrummer, this is a traditional pattern you’ll come back to again and again. Great as a last minute gift, there’s plenty of room for adaptation with this pattern. For a tonal look, work the mittens using shades of the same color for the thrums and background, or go wild with a random assortment of mixed colors! The thrums create a fuzzy lining on the inside which makes these mittens extra cozy.
