Current Cardi

The Current Cardi is perfect for those summer days when you need a little something extra. The interlacing cables resemble the overlapping waves flowing with the current that are oh-so soothing.

4” positive ease recommended.

Gauge: 30 sts and 20 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking

Sleeves

With smaller needles, CO 82 (82, 90, 98, 108, 124, 136). PM and join to work in the rnd.

Work in K1, P1 Rib until piece meas 49 (50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55)” from CO edge.

BO all sts.

Finishing

Line up the 41 (49, 49, 52, 52, 52, 56) sts for Front and Back, Left and Right Shoulders.

Using the Kitchener Stitch, seam the shoulders together.

Using the Mattress Stitch and beginning at the bottom left hem, attach the collar around the edge of the cardigan.

Using the Mattress Stitch, seam the Sleeves onto the shoulders.

Block to finished dimensions.
