Honey Bee Wrap

The Honey Bee Wrap is an arrow-shaped wrap, pointy at one end and V-shaped at the other end. It is knit in sections (like a sampler shawl) with some easy, mindless stitches like garter and stockinette, and interspersed with interesting sections of bobbles, honeycomb lace and stripes.

Skill Level: Easy

Size: 18” wide and 64” long

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking

Materials

Super fine weight yarnYarn: Malabrigo Yarn Sock (100% Merino; 440 yards [402 meters]/100 grams): 803 Ochre (MC, 2 balls), 805 Alcaucil (CC, 1 ball)

Needles: US size 5 (3.75 mm) straight

Notions: Markers, tapestry needle

Special Stitches

byf_sl: Bring working yarn to front under the needle, slip 1 stitch knitwise, bring working yarn over top of needle to the back (this produces a yarn over that crosses over the slipped stitch)

k_psso: Knit 1, then pass the prior slipped stitch over this stitch

m1l: Increase slanted to the left (pick up the horizontal bar btw the sts from front to back, knit through back leg)

m1r: Increase slanted to the right (pick up the horizontal bar btw the sts from back to front, knit through front leg)

Pattern Notes
