Mabel Front Cable Pullover

Turn a simple cable-front pullover into a modern and exciting piece perfect for fall. The secret is in the sleeves — just use lightweight yarn in a contrasting color to instantly add some visual intrigue.

Finishing

Block pieces. Sew Raglan seams. Sew sides and Sleeve seams.

Neckband

With RS facing, larger needles and beg at Right Back shoulder, and working 2 sts together on each side of all seams, knit across held Back and Left Sleeve sts, PU and K11 (11, 13, 13, 15, 15, 17) sts along Left Front neck edge, knit across held Front neck sts, PU and K11 (11, 13, 13, 15, 15, 17) sts along Right Front neck edge, PM, join for working in the rnd. 112 (120, 128, 136, 148, 156, 164) sts

Work in K2, P2 Rib in the rnd until piece meas 1.5” from pick-up rnd.

Optional: When working across the Front, instead of working K2, P2 Rib across, you may choose to maintain the established stitch pattern.
