I am a budding designer from Mumbai, India. I was a technical writer before I quit work to start my family. I am now a full time mom to super-active twin girls with very little time to spare. In the little precious “me time” that I get, I try to pack in as much knitting I can, whether it’s test knitting, swatching stitch patterns, learning new knitting techniques or dreaming and creating my own stuff.

My personal design philosophy is to create quick, simple, preferably seamless, yet elegant knits that are as fun to knit as they are comfortable to wear.

My Ravelry ID is jayashankar and you can find my designs on my designer page.

Pacifica Stripes Tee

This seamless striped tee is a cool and nautical addition to your wardrobe. With stripes only halfway up the body of the piece with a couple stripes on the sleeves, this tee has more visual interest and more of a playful summer flair. Knit in sport-weight linen yarn, the tee is ideal for summer/spring wear but can be well worn into early fall.
