If I wanted to use an additional reinforce thread for the toe and heel, or a different color, where would I start the yarn change or additional strand for the heel portion?
Hello Barbara! I’ve reached out to the designer for advice and she or I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks! – Nicola, Editor
Hi Barbara! If you work it at the bottom of the heel and back of the heel steps, that would be the whole heel. Hope that helps! – Nicola, Editor
Like these socks , warmth and pattern . Why using double yarns ? What weight are these yearns ?
Hi Mary! One of these yarns is mohair blend and the other is a wool blend. Super Fine and Lace weight. This pattern is worked in the round from the toe up with one strand of each yarn held together. That way the sock has structure but also that fuzzy look! Hope that helps! – Nicola, Editor
Bottom of heel, WS, I assume is P, as the next row is knit??
Hi Renata! We’ve reached out to the designer for clarification and she or I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks! – Nicola, Editor
