Watch bulky yarn and lace come together in this lace and texture crescent shawl to make a stylish winter accessory. This shawl is both quick and interesting to knit.

Size: Top edge 55 (65)” across top edge x 15 (17)” height

Gauge: 14 sts and 18 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking.

Bulky Weight Yarn Nako Sport Wool (25% Wool, 75% Acrylic; 131 yards [119 meters]/100 grams): White, 2 (3) balls.

Needles: US size 9 (5.5 mm): 32” circular

Notions: Cable needle; tapestry needle

Abbreviations

List all non-standard abbreviations.

Kyok – (k1, yo, k1) in next st.

K2tog tbl – knit 2 sts together through back loops.

P2tog tbl – purl 2 sts together through back loops.

W3 – Knit next 3 sts, place sts on cable needle and wrap yarn 3 times around 3 sts, transfer sts to right needle.

Special Stitches

W3 (Wrapped stitch) – Knit 3 sts, place sts on cable needle and wrap yarn 3 times around 3 sts, transfer to right needle.
