Pattern Notes

This scarf is worked flat. The chart shows the complete snowflake pattern worked over 53 sts and 56 rows, which is repeated throughout.

When working from chart, odd-numbered rows (RS rows) are read from right to left and even-numbered rows (WS rows) are read from left to right.

The chart and the written instructions do not include the border sts. These have to be worked additionally.

Pattern

CO 65 sts using your preferred cast on-method (I recommend a stretchy cast on-method).

Row 1: Work 6 sts in Moss Stitch Pattern, pm, work Row 1 from Chart or from written instructions, pm, work 6 sts in Moss Stitch Pattern, starting with a purl st.

Cont in pattern as established, working Rows 1-56 for a total of 8 times or until desired length reached.

BO loosely.

Finishing

Weave in all ends. Wash and block the Shawl to the given length using blocking wires. After the shawl is dry add the fringes.
