Pattern Notes

This scarf is knit sideways. The zigzag edges are created by increasing and decreasing along the sides of the scarf. The scarf can easily be made shorter or longer by adding or subtracting repeats of the Echo Lace pattern.

Stitches are increased on Rows 1-8 of the Echo Lace Pattern and decreased on Rows 9-16 of the pattern. The original stitch count is restored after Row 16.

The stitch pattern is charted only.

Pattern

CO 62 sts.

Set-up Row (WS): K10, pm, p42, pm, k10.

Rep Rows 1-16 of Echo Lace chart pattern 29 times or to desired length.

BO all sts.

Finishing

Weave in ends but do not trim. Wet or steam block firmly, pinning out points from sides.
