Abbreviations

Left Slipped Cross (LSC) – sl 1 st to cn, hold to front of work, k1, sl 1 from cn. To work without a cn, insert needle from back to front between the first and second sts and knit into front of second st (leaving st on left-hand needle), slip first st to right-hand needle, then drop second st from left-hand needle.

p – purl

rep – repeat

Right Slipped Cross (RSC) – sl 1 st to cn, hold to back of work, k1, sl 1 from cn.

With smaller needles, CO 162 sts using long tail cast-on. Join for working in the rnd, being careful not to twist the sts. Place marker for beginning of rnd.
