Medium weight yarnYarn: Stunning String Studios Legacy Worsted (100% Merino wool; 215 yards [197 meters]/100 grams): Limestone (MC, 2 skeins); Edge of the Forest (CC, 2 skeins)

Needles: US size 9 (5.5 mm) 47” or 60″ circular needle

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

Gauge: 12 sts and 22 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in double knit St st

Abbreviations

st-pair (stitch pair): A pair of stitches forms one square on the chart of a double knit pattern. A knit stitch worked in one color followed by a purl stitch worked in the other color.

Pattern Notes

The pattern is fully charted and can be extended seamlessly in any direction.

Read the chart from the bottom up and for RS rows from the right to left, and for WS rows from the left to right.

Using the Italian Two Color Cast On or two-color cast-on of your choice, CO 160 st-pairs (320 sts).

Work Rows 1-90 of the chart following color changes as charted.

To bind off, separate the front and back sts onto their own needles. Leave a tail of about 4 times the wrap width to use Kitchener stitch to join the front and back sts.

Finishing

Weave in ends. Block.
