Pattern Notes

Beginning with a Provisional CO, the scarf is worked in the round in Stockinette.

Daisies are embroidered after wet blocking, then the stitches are retrieved from Provisional CO and the two ends are grafted together with a half-twist to create a moebius loop.

Pattern

With MC and preferred Provisional CO method, CO 76 sts. Pm and join to work in the rnd, being careful not to twist sts.

Rnd 1: With MC, knit.

Rnds 2-168: Rep Rnd 1.

Cut yarn, leaving a tail at least 3 times the length of the sts. Do not BO.

Finishing

Weave in all ends. Wash and wet block to size.

Embroidered Daisies

With C1 and C2, use duplicate st to work chart twice per rnd, a total of 8 times, completing 16 daisies.

Turn Scarf inside out, weave in C1 and C2 ends. Turn Scarf right side out, unzip Provisional CO and return live sts to second needle. Align Scarf ends carefully then give one end a half-twist. Using MC, graft ends of Scarf together with Kitchener stitch.

Tie MC ends in a knot and thread through to the inside of the Cowl.
