I wondered if I can do this in Worsted Weight 4 yarn. I may just have to increase the size by a repeat or 2.

Slip two stitches knit wise, then knit the two together through the back.

Do you pass both of the slipped stitches over or just one as the pattern indicates?

    • Hello Linda! You pass both slipped stitches over. It sounds like a scary stitch, but once you’ve done it a few times it’s super simple. 🙂

I may be a hesitant, novice knitter…this pattern does not sound easy to me. I have never in my life done a double decrease or an ssk. I guess I am going to try and learn…

Could you please tell me what the pattern repeat numbers are, for converting this to a wider and longer blanket for adults?

Add 24 for each addition chevron you want. Right now the repeat of Row 1 is 2 times, but for each set of 24 sts you add you will repeat once more.
