Measure the fabric along the lines shown.

Cut out fabric and interfacing as measured to the total width and length of the clutch with 0.25” seam allowance at the sides, 1.5” at the top, and 0.5” at the bottom.

Iron fusible interfacing to lining fabric.

Pin the clutch to measurements, then cut out felt 0.25” smaller than the size of the flap as shown.

Apply glue along the sides of the felt and stick to the flap.

Fold and pin the bottom to two-thirds of the lining and interfacing.

Sew along the edges.

Position magnetic clasp 1.5” from the bottom in the center and attach.

Insert the folded portion of the lining inside the clutch and sew along the top edge of the clutch body.

Align fabric and flap and pin the seam along the edges without pinning it to the flap. Attach magnetic clasp at the top, where the fabric is folded over.

Pin the lining to the flap and sew.
