Pattern Notes

This blanket is worked as a rectangle flat. The garter stitch edging worked alongside the edges of the fair isle are not shown in the fair isle chart.

Pattern

With MC, CO 124 sts.

Rib st: *K2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd with MC.

Rep Rib st until piece measures 1” from cast on edge.

Next row: With MC K2, pm, work Checkered Chart until 2 sts rem, pm, MC k2. The first and last 2 sts of the row are the garter stitch edging worked with MC.

Work Checkered Chart and maintain garter stitch with MC edging until piece measures 59” from cast on edge.

Rib st: *K2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd with MC.

Rep Rib st until piece measures 61” from cast on edge.

BO all sts.

Finishing

Block to measurements. Weave in ends once dry.
