Pattern Notes

  1. The body of this cardigan is worked flat from bottom up in three separate pieces (back and two fronts). The ¾ sleeves are worked from bottom up and sewn in after the cardigan is done.
  2. To make picking up stitches for the front bands easier, slip the first st of the row when working Front Panels.
  3. For decreasing at the v-neckline, slip 1, k2tog on the right front and slip 1, ssk on the left front.
  4. Since the front band is worked in garter stitch, there is no need to add any stitches for the front band. Garter stitch is wider than stockinette and will take care of the pulling in front.
