Abbreviations
S2KP2: Slip 2 sts as if to k2tog, knit 1, pass 2 slipped stitches over knit stitch; centered double decrease
K5tog: Slip 3 sts as if to k3tog, k2tog, pass the 3 slipped sts over the k2tog.
Pattern Notes
4 stitches on both sides of the wrap are worked in garter stitch. To stop the edges from pulling in, work short rows on the 4 edge stitches on both sides. You can use any technique you like.
Due to the difference in multiples in different patterns increases and decreases are incorporated in the garter stitch rows in between patterns.
The charts do not include the beginning and end garter stitches.
For decreases in the last row of garter stitch in between patterns, work either ssk, or k2tog randomly across row as many times as instructed.
For increases in the last row of garter stitch in between patterns, Insert the right-hand needle under the float between the last stitch knitted and the next stitch. Knit into the back of the float. Do this randomly as many times as instructed.
