Diamond Shawl

April’s birthstone is the stunning diamond. Diamonds can be a knitter’s best friend, too! Diamond motifs large and small sprinkle this rectangular wrap. Plant fibers keep this project suitable for warmer months, and a metallic thread woven through the yarn gives it just the right special sparkle.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Size: 21” wide x 60” long

Gauge: 16 sts x 26 rows = 4” [10 cm] in lace patt after wet blocking.

Lace weight yarn Universal Yarn Universe (42% Linen, 41% Cotton, 9% Glitter, 9% Polyamide; 246 yards [225 meters]/50 grams): 10-09 Pottery, 4 balls

Needle: US size 4 (3.5 mm)
