Winter Ridge Infinity Scarf

This extra-long scarf can wrap around your neck twice for extra warmth and coziness. The ribbing on the edges of this piece contrasts the garter ridges. The eyelets break up the stitch pattern, making it an interesting knit!

Sizes: Finished Measurements 48″ / [122 cm] circumference x 10″ / [25.5 cm] length

Gauge: 24 sts and 40 rnds = 4″ [10 cm] in Eyelet Ridge Pattern with larger needle.

Materials

Yarn Quince & Co. Finch (100% American Wool; 221 yards [202 meters]/50 grams: Glacier, 3 skeins.

Needles: US sizes 2 (2.75 mm): 32” circular; US size 3 (3.25 mm): 32″ circular

Notions: Stitch marker; tapestry needle.

BO: bind off

CO: cast on

k: knit

k2tog: knit 2 sts together

p: purl

pm: place marker

rep: repeat

rnd(s): round(s)

yo: yarn over

Special Stitches

K2, P2 Ribbing (worked in rnds, multiple of 4 sts)

Rnd 1: *K1, p2, k1; rep from * to end.

Rep Rnd 1 for patt.

Eyelet Ridge Pattern (multiple of 3 sts)

Rnd 1: Knit.

Rnd 2: Purl.

Rnds 3-4: Knit.

Rnd 5: *K2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to end.

Rnd 6: Knit.

Rep Rnds 1-6 for patt.

Pattern

With smaller needles, CO 288 sts. Pm for beg of rnd and join to work in the rnd.

Work in K2, P2 Ribbing for 7 rnds.

Change to larger needles.

Work Rnds 1-6 of Eyelet Ridge Patt 14 times, then work Rnds 1–3 once more.

Change to smaller needles.

Work 7 rnds in K2, P2 Ribbing.

BO all sts in pattern.

Finishing

Weave in ends. Block to measurements.
