Skill Level: Intermediate

Size: 6” (15.5 cm) wide x 62.5” (159 cm) long.

Gauge: 20 sts and 23 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Leopard patt. after wet blocking.

Materials

Medium weight yarnYarn: Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Superwash (100% Superwash Wool; 220 yards [200 meters]/100 grams): #876 Sandalwood (MC, 3 skeins), #872 Bitter Chocolate (CC, 1 skein).

Needle: US size 7 (4.5 mm) set of 5 DPNs or preferred needles for working in the rnd.

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch marker.

Pattern Notes

This fun leopard print scarf is knit in the rnd, starting with 1×1 Rib. The St st section is worked in MC, then working Leopard Pattern. Cont with second St st section in MC, finishing off with another 1×1 Rib edge.

The WS is conveniently hidden inside the Scarf.

Weave in the ends as you work on the Scarf.

The Leopard Pattern is repeated 9 times.

The chart is followed from bottom to top, working each rnd from right to left, knitting all sts 6 times around.

Ribbing Edge

Using MC, CO 60 sts, PM, being careful not to twist sts, join to begin working in the rnd.

Rnds 1-25: Work in 1×1 Rib in MC.

Body

Rnds 1-65: Knit in MC. Attach CC.

Rnds 66-245: Work in Leopard Pattern, using written instructions or chart 6 times around. After final rnd, cut CC.

Rnds 246-310: Knit in MC.

Ribbing Edge

Rnds 1-25: Work in 1×1 Rib patt in MC.

Rnd 26: BO in 1×1 Rib patt.

Finishing

Weave in ends.

Wash and block to measurements.
