Silvermist Infinity Scarf

This cowl is a quick knit and an easy two-round pattern. Soft and easily looped around the neck once or twice, this infinity scarf is the perfect gift for yourself.

Skill Level: Easy

Size: Approx. 30” finished circumference x approx. 7-8” finished height.

Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4” [10cm] in stitch pattern.

Gauge is not critical to this project, but may affect the amount of yarn needed.

Materials

Yarn: Berroco Mixer (33% Cotton, 33% Polyester, 28% Viscose, 6% Nylon; 65 yards [151 meters]/50 grams): #8116 Shimmy (1 skein)

Needle: US size 7 (4.5mm) 24” circular

Notions: Stitch marker

Pattern Notes

Pay close attention when working areas of thin thread to avoid dropping or working two sts together.

Because of the natural drape of the yarn, this cowl may be blocked to a shorter circumference and a taller height.

Pattern

CO 180 sts. Join without twisting, placing marker between first and last st.

Knit 1 rnd.

Rnd 1: *(K1, yo) twice, k1, k3tog tbl; rep from * around.

Rnd 2: Knit.

Rep Rnds 1-2 until Cowl meas 8” from CO.

BO loosely.

Finishing
