Yarn: Toby Roxane Designs Cozy Bulky (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon); 76 yards [83 meters]/100 grams): Hothouse (1 skein)

Needles: US size 10.75 (7.0 mm) DPNs

Notions: Markers, removable markers, waste yarn for holding thumb stitches, tapestry needle

Special Stitches

RC (right cross): Knit 2 together without slipping stitches off needle, then knit into first stitch again, slipping both stitches off needle.

LC (left cross): Knit into back loop of second stitch on left needle, then knit first two stitches together through back loop.

CO 18 (20) sts. Distribute among DPNs and join to work in the rnd, being careful not to twist sts. Place a removable marker to indicate beg of rnd.
Rnd 1: *K1, p1; rep from * to end.

Rep Rnd 1, 8 more times for a total of 9 rnds of ribbing.

Hand

Rnd 1: LC, knit to end.
Rnd 2 (and all even-numbered rnds unless otherwise directed): Knit.
