Special Stitches

N (nupp) – make 7 sts out of 1 as folls: (k1, yo) 3 times, k1, into the same st

P7tog – purl next 7 sts together

C2B – slip 1 st on cable needle and bring it to the back of work, k1 from left needle, k1 from cable needle

C2F – slip 1 st on cable needle and bring it in front of work, k1 from left needle, k1 from cable needle

Back Yoke

The Back Yoke panel is worked separately from one back armhole to another.

With larger needles, CO 30 sts.

Set-up Row 1 (RS): K1, PM, p1, k4, p1, k1tbl, p1, k4, p1, PM, k to end.

Set-up Row 2 (WS): P to M, SM, k1, p4, k1, p1tbl, k1, p4, k1, SM, k1.

Go on as folls:

Back Left Shoulder

With RS of Back Yoke up, cable up, meas 4.75 (5, 5.75, 6, 6.5)” / [12 (13, 14.5, 15.5, 16.5) cm] along the upper edge from left and from right to center yoke edge. Place markers.

With WS of Back Yoke facing, cable up, pick up and p19 (22, 25, 28, 31) sts from Left Shoulder to M, place Back Neckline piece on LN and work as folls: p2tog, (k1, p1) to last st, k1. This is a left shoulder with a joined neckline binding. (27 (30, 33, 36, 39) sts on the needles)
