Easy Reversible Cables Scarf

This bold blue scarf features winding cables across the front and back so that there is no right or wrong side to the scarf. With an easy cabled pattern and a simple construction, this scarf will be right at home with your winter wardrobe.

Size: 4” X 58″

Gauge: 40 sts and 32 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in pattern stitch after wet blocking

Medium Weight Yarn Plymouth Encore Knitting Worsted (75% acrylic, 25% wool, 200 yards [183 meters]/100 grams): #0133 Royal Blue (2 balls)
Needles: US size 8 (5.0 mm) straight needles
Notions: Cable needle

Abbreviations

4/4 LPC: Sl4 onto CN, hold in front, p2, k2, (p2, k2) from CN.
4/4 RPC: Sl4 onto CN, hold in back, p2, k2, (p2, k2) from CN.
8/8 LPC: Sl8 onto CN, hold in front, (k2, p2) twice, (k2, p2) from CN.

CO 40 sts.
Rows 1-4: * K2, p2; repeat from *.
Row 5: K2, 4/4 LPC, (p2, k2) 5 times, 4/4RPC, p2.
Rows 6-8: * K2, p2; repeat from *.
Row 9: K2, 4/4 LPC, (p2, k2) 5 times, 4/4RPC, p2.
Rows 10-12: * K2, p2; repeat from *.
Row 13: K2, 4/4 LPC, p2, 8/8 LPC, k2, 4/4RPC, p2.
Repeat rows 2-13, 20 times then repeat rows 1-8.
Bind off all sts loosely. 

Finishing

Weave in all ends.
Block scarf to size.

    This pattern appears to be incomplete, seems there should be a row 17 stating repeat row 5 then the whole repeat shoal do start from row 2
