Pattern Notes

This Crew Neck, Modified Drop Shoulder Sweater is worked flat in Four pieces. Front,

Back and Two Sleeves. The repeat pattern is worked on a Reverse Stockinette stitch

background with a Twisted 2 Stitch Rib (K2Tbl) pattern worked on each RS row.

A Selvage Stitch (SS) is worked on each side of every row in knit stitch to facilitate ease in sewing and finishing the Sweater. (SS) Selvage Stitches are included in the stitch counts in the pattern.

Work the increases in Reverse St st on the Sleeve up to 10 sts before you begin incorporating the k2tbl pattern.

Circular needles are used for flat knitting to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Double point needles or circular needles (using for the Magic Loop method) are used for the neckline ribbing.
