Gauge: 21 sts and 20 rows = 4” [10 cm] in colorwork pattern after wet blocking; 21 sts and 25 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in st st after wet blocking

MATERIALS

Medium weight yarnYarn: Cascade 220 (100% wool; 220 yards [201 meters]/100 grams): 9448 Olive Heather  (MC, 5 balls), 9634 Aqua Haze (CC1, 1 ball), 9684 Green Tea (CC2, 1 ball), 2425 Provence (CC3, 1 ball)

Hook/Needles: US size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needles

Notions: Marker

Note: Rows 3 to 20 of Chart A are worked twice for the swatch and Chart A is repeated 3 times across each row (24 sts).

CO 34 sts with MC
Row 1-5: K34
Row 6: Using MC, k5, work row 3 of Chart A, using MC, k5
Row 7: Using MC, k5, work row 4 of Chart A, using MC, k5
Row 8-41: Using MC, k5, work next row of Chart A, using MC, k5
Row 42: Using MC, k5, work row 21 of Chart A, using MC, k5
Row 43: Using MC, k5, work row 22 of Chart A, using MC, k5
