This lovely shawlette begins with working scallops that are worked separately in different colors and joined with another row of scallops to create a beautiful edging. Later, stitches are picked up at the straight edge and worked in a crescent shape creating this wonderful shawlette.

Pattern Notes
The first row of scallops is worked separately. For the 2nd row, 2 scallops are placed next to each other with RS facing you and stitches for the 2nd row is picked up with MC at the top edge of the two scallops. The 3rd row is worked same as 2nd row but with colors CC1 through CC6.
If you pick up more stitches than the 27 needed, decrease them on the second row to get the required 27 stitches.

Main Scallop (Chart 1)
With each color (CC1 through CC6), CO 27 sts for the first row of scallops. Follow the diagram to know which color to use. For Row 2, work the scallops with MC and for Row 3, pick up and knit 27 sts with each color (CC1 through CC6). Follow the diagram to know which color to use.
