Yarn:

Manos de Uruguay Fino Mini Skeins (70% extrafine merino, 30% silk) 93 yards [85 meters]/20 g): 407 Velver Pincushion (CC1), 420-Boudoir (CC2), 430 Filigree (CC3), 443 Turkish Delights (CC4). 1 skein each.

Needles: US size 4 / 3.5 mm needles.

Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle.

Abbreviations

kfb: knit front and back in the same st (1 st inc)

Special Stitches

mini I-cord bind-off:

CO 2 sts, *K1, k2tog tbl, sl2 sts onto LHN; Rep from * until 2 sts remain. BO with Kitchener st to the first 2 sts of the I-cord.

Pattern Notes

The cowl is constructed flat, increasing only on one side. Once the piece is completed, it is joined at the back of the neck with a small seam.

Cut yarn after each color change

It is recommended to block the piece before seeming

Row 1 (RS): K to end

Row 2 (WS): P to end

Rows 3-8: Rep last 2 Rows 3 more times

Row 9: * With the tip of the right-hand needle, lift (pick up) the first stitch of Row 1 on

the WS of your work, place it on the left-hand needle and K2tog the first stitch on the picked

up round and the first live st on the left-hand needle; Repeat from * to end lifting the next st from Row 1 onto the needle to k2tog with next live st.

Row 10: P to end

Part 3

With CC3.

Set-up Row 1 (RS): K to end.

Set up Row 2 (WS): P to end.

Row 1: Sl2 wyib, kfb, p to last 3 sts, sl3 wyib. (87 sts)
