Knitted Cast-on
- Knit a stitch as normal, but DO NOT slip stitch from left needle
- Place the newly formed stitch back on the right needle back on left needle without twisting it.
Repeat Steps 1-2 until you have the desired number of stitches.

Knitting with beads (crochet hook method)
- Work to the stitch indicated to place a bead
- Slide the bead onto the crochet hook
- Insert the hook into the stitch loop
- Slide the stitch off the knitting needle and pull the stitch loop through the bead
- Place the stitch back on the left needle and knit it as usual.

- Knit 2 stitches, pass the first stitch over the second as a normal BO
- Pass the stitch on right needle back to left needle
- CO 2 stitches using the Knitted CO method
- BO 1 stitch as usual, knit 2 stitches, then passing the first stitch over the second
- Slide a bead onto the crochet hook
- Insert the hook into the stitch loop on the left needle
