Cables and Welts Hat

Two large welts make up the bulk of this design, laying open atop the crown only to flow closed as they approach the neck. Surrounding them are eight evenly spaced cables. Three stitches wide, they cable in an uneven but interesting manner, lending character to the warm and squishy yarn.
