Snow What Fun Cowl

This eye catching cowl will keep you warm throughout the winter months. It may look complicated, but it works up quickly. You can make one to give as a gift and one for yourself.

Size: 25 (44)” circumference x 7½” tall

Gauge: 27 sts and 31 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Diamond Pattern after wet blocking.

Pattern Notes

Snow What Fun Cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. When working the rib pattern, after the purl stitches are complete, move CC to the back of the work and k2 with MC.

Pattern

With CC, loosely CO 168 (300) sts, place marker, join for working in the rnd, taking care not to twist sts.

Ribbing

Rnd 1: Join MC, k2, p2 (CC), *k2 (MC), p2 (CC); rep from * around.

Rep Rnd 1, 4 more times.

Work Rnds 1-24 of Diamond Pattern 3 times, then Rnds 1-2 once more or work in est patt until piece meas desired length. Updated 9/16/2020

Ribbing

Next Rnd: *K2 (MC), *p2 (CC); rep from * around.

Rep last rnd 4 more times.

With CC, loosely BO all sts in rib pattern.

Finishing

    Pattern actually has 24 rows! I’m very frustrated to have had to work out the remainder of the pattern myself & rip back so many rows of color work! Please contact me if you need the remaining rows.
