Size: Finished upper arm measurement 8½” [25cm] to fit upper arm size 8½” – 10” [22-26 cm]

Gauge: 28 sts and 37 rows = 4” [10cm] in St st after blocking; 30 sts and 37 rows = 4” [10cm] in colorwork pattern after blocking; 34 sts and 37 rows = 4” [10cm] in rib after blocking

Yarn: Knitpicks Palette (100% peruvian highland wool; 231 yards [211 meters]/50 grams): #25089 Regal (MC, 2 balls), #25531 Canary (CC, 1 ball)
Needles: US size 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles
Notions: 4 stitch markers, waste yarn

Abbreviations

M1l (Make 1 left): Insert left needle into yarn between stitches from front to back and knit through the back.
M1r (Make 1 right): Insert left needle into yarn between stitches from back to front and knit through the front.

Pattern Notes

The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down beginning with a section of 2 x 2 rib and alternating this with colorwork. The final section of rib includes the thumb gusset.

Co 64. Divide between 4 DPNs and join the rnd being careful not to twist. Pm for start of rnd.

Weave in ends and block. yarn ball
